Rosalie Ritz
August 6, 1923 - April 18, 2008
Rosalie left us but we will always remember her smile and talent. She not only was a courtroom artist, but she was also a fine artist who captured the likenesses of people in a way that made you feel like she knew the person, their heart, their soul. Rosalie embellished each painting or drawing with what made that person who they were.
We are Rosalie's four daughters: Barbara, Sandy, Terry, and Janet. We learned how to speak our minds and be the best we could be from her. Mom always believed in us. We want the world to know how lucky we were to be her daughters.
This website is dedicated to our mother's talent, passion, and energy. She took risks that women did not take in the 1950s through the 70s. We hope to share with you her spirit, her paintings, her drawings, and her story.
